Buying illegal drugs through an online shop, this man was arrested by the police

PRFMNEWS – Drug and illegal drug cases seem to have no end, the Pandeglang Police Narcotics Investigation Unit succeeded in arresting a man with the initials HW (28), who was distributing illegal drugs such as Tramadol HCI and Hexymer.

The resident of Cipahul Village, Ciodeng Village, Sindangresmi District, Pandeglang Regency, was arrested by the police after buying Tramadol HCI and Hexymer in an online shop application.

Pandeglang Police Chief AKBP Belny Warlansyah, quoting from PMJNEWS, Head of the Narcotics Unit, AKP Ilman Robiana, revealed that the alleged dealer was arrested when he was about to make a transaction in a lathe workshop in Pasar Picung Village, Cililitan Village, Picung District, Pandeglang Regency.

“The suspect was arrested by officers on Friday March 3 at around 16.00 WIB,” said Ilman as reported by PMJ News.

During the arrest, the police succeeded in confiscating evidence of Tramadol HCI brand tablets and yellow tablets with the MF (Hexymer) logo and then also confiscated money which they admitted was the proceeds from drug sales.

“From the suspect’s hands, officers found 146 tablets of the tramadol HCI brand and 1 pot containing 1000 yellow tablets with the MF (Hexymer) logo which were stored in a cupboard in the workshop. Then he also confiscated money which he admitted was the proceeds from selling the drug amounting to Rp. 10,000. 00,- which was kept in the suspect’s pocket,” said Ilman.

According to his confession, the suspect got the drugs from the online shopping application Shopee. List G hard drugs were also distributed to his friends.

Now, the suspect is also threatened with Law Number 36 of 2009 concerning Health.

“The maximum penalty is 15 years in prison or a fine of IDR 1.5 billion,” he concluded. ***
